This mechanic is protected by The Passive Protection System. This system does not require the mechanic to hook up to any lanyards or devices. They may move about freely after the system is installed. |

Our experiences have found the Passive Protection System will protect workers who ignore good safety practices, as well as relieve the owner and management of the facility from policing the use of safety equipment, thus adding to worker safety and lowering the risk of injury. |

The Active Protection System is used by attaching a lanyard to a universal foot and connecting to a body harness. The user would then be able to move around his or her work area safely. |
